Charlotte C. Clayton was born in London, England in 1907. The self-taught artist began oil painting only 25 years ago after she retired and moved to Florida. She is pleased and proud to have collectors who are interested in her paintings and whom have purchased a variety of her works. Her work is primitive in nature and is exhibited widely in both indoor and outdoor shows and at the annual ARTFEST in south-central Florida. She has received numerous awards in juried shows over the years. Her gallery lists include Peters Gallery, Carumba, Seven Moons, Newark Museum (NJ), Smithfield Art Gallery, Elliot and Lighthouse Gallery.)
