Watercolor media was my choice because my children (5) wouldn’t eat it, it dried fast, and it didn’t give me a headache. You can paint, pour blow it and I love the movement of the pigment on the wet surfaces and the exciting happenings it creates. I also enjoy painting with pastels because of the brilliant colors you can achieve and the application is the opposite of watercolor. I currently exhibit at the Gallery Uptown and Lafferandrea Gallery in Florida, juried shows and local art reach venues. I’ve illustrated covers for B&B of Michigan. I’m a native of Muskegon with a formal education from the U of Mi.with a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. Dexterity starts here. Art education has been thru many workshops with artists around the country and a special one (Sally Harris) in my neighborhood.
