TREASURE COAST UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CONGREGATION

Entry Form, Waiver form and Payment is due before FEB 25, 2020

Each artist may submit 2 paintings.

The first entry fee is $20.  A second painting may be entered for an

additional $15.  Please send as soon as possible as we have limited space.

DROP-OFF PAINTINGS AT THE UU ON 2/26/20 FROM 12:00 noon TO 3PM

Paintings will be hung on 2/27/20 by the show committee.

 

 No exceptions!!, no payments with the drop-offs of artwork.

 

Opening Reception:  5:30 to 7:30 PM on Friday February 28, 2020  

           Complimentary wine, soda and appetizers will be served.

 

End of Show Pickup: Friday March 27, 2020 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM

 

Categories allowed:

 

  1. ACRYLIC

  2. OIL

  3. WATERCOLOR

  4. PASTELS AND DRAWINGS

  5. MIXED MEDIUM,   THIS INCLUDES: PHOTOGRAPHY, SCULPTURES, FABRIC etc.

  6. There must be at least 5 entries in each category to be eligible for prizes.  If a minimum of 5 entries are not received, the artwork will be moved into the mixed medium category.  

Rules of Show:

 

You must be an AAMC member with “paid up” yearly dues.

Show committee has the right to reject entries deemed unsuitable.

A  25% commission will be expected from any sold painting to go to 

the UU CONGREGATION.

 

Art Requirements:                                                              

Entry must be an original work of the artist. (no giclees and no prints).

 

Entry must not be more than two years old.

Entry must not have been exhibited in a previous AAMC Art Show.

 

Entry must be dry, framed and wired for hanging (no toothed brackets).

Improperly framed items will be rejected.

 

Due to limited hanging space we can only accept a maximum 72 inch (length plus width)  as the allowable FRAMED size of an entry.

Gallery wrapped canvases are acceptable.

 

Framed watercolor art/photography UNDER PLEXIGLAS IF POSSIBLE for safety reasons and to protect your work.

 

Available wall space is limited.  All paintings will be hung on wall space and there are pedestals for three dimensional items.

 

Entry must be labeled:  Labels stating artist name, phone, email, title,

medium, price, width and height must be attached to the back of each

painting.  This information must match the ENTRY form. 

 

Sales will be taken care of Debi, who is at the UU  from 10:00 to 3:00  Monday through Friday.  She will take the 25 percent fee from the sales price.  At the end of the show, checks will be issued to the artists.  You will be responsible for any sales tax on a sale.  Please be sure to give the phone number where you can be reached for question on your entries.
